Catherine V. McGrane was my great grandmother. I know that she was born in Donegal, I believe in the town of Ballintra. Her maiden name was McGrane, her married name was Seward. She immigrated to the US in 1884. I'm not sure what her port of arrival was, but she lived in Chicago for much of her life in the US. She had two children, my grandmother
