The old Buncrana Railway Station is located in the civil parish of Fahan Lower in County Donegal.
The station was built in 1864.
The building was designed by Fitzgibbon Louch in the Tudor-Gothic in style.
It was built for the Londonderry to Lough Swilly railway line. The line closed to passengers in 1948 and closed completely in 1953.
The building has since been purchased and restored though many of the original features have been retained.
The station has been repurposed as The Drift Inn and as a result is maintained to an excellent standard.
