John Attridge was born in 1873 to James Attridge and Mary Anne McCarthy in Forenaght, Castlehaven. He was one of 9 children and he and 4 of his siblings emigrated to Boston, Ma. in the late 1880's. John married Hannah Donovan from Kilmacabea in Peabody, Ma. in 1896 and they had 5 children.

Could not locate the seventh sibling of John.
Frank- I corrected the number of Children of James and Mary Anne to 9 as in the Irish census of 1911 Mary states she had 9 children and 8 survived. They are Margaret*, Patrick, Ellen*, John*, Michael*, James, Thomas, Catherine (Kate) and Anne.The asterisks indicate the siblings that emigrated to Boston, MA. The only sibling I can not locate is Thomas. He is in the Irish Census of 1901 with his family but not in the 1911. There are quite a few Thomas Attridges around the area and I can not determine my relative. Not sure if you could help.
I am also trying to connect a Jeremiah Attridge to my Fornaught Attridges. Jeremiah is listed in the Sustainability Loan Fund 1812-1868 as being in Fornaught in 1844 and 1845. Jeremiah had a son in Feb 1845 with Margaret Mahoney. Sponsors at the Baptism were Dan Donovan and Cath Attridge in the Parish of Castlehaven and Myross.
I am trying to prove he is a brother of James Attridge (Mary McCarthy) and John Attridge (Bridget Geaney) both lived in Forenaught. I found their sister, Anne who married Thomas Keohane and lived in Cullinagh, Kilmacabea. I believe there is another brother Thomas but have no proof.
Their father is John (taken from marriage records). I suspect Cath Attridge is the mother as Anne names her first daughter but again no proof.
Any help would be most welcome!
