William McCarroll and Susanna Mulholland married at Rasharkin in 1853 and has several children baptised there, apart from the youngest Veronica who was registered in Ballymoney, family living at Drumean, Londonderry father a Weaver.
A William McCarroll is in Griffiths Valuation at Dirraw, apart from that I cannot find any positive reference to him background.
The family moved sometime in early 1800's to Glasgow, area Rutherglen and Wishaw, although I have never found either William or traced a death certificate for him which might have helped me with a clue to his parentage.
