Patrick Francis McPadden was born in Derrinvoney Upper, County Leitrim to Patrick McPadden and Mary Higgins in 1904. He emigrated to the US through Canada in 1925 where he stayed with a cousin in Montreal, John Boles, before heading on to NYC. He married Dorothy Olsen in Suffolk County, NY and ended up residing in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and 4 children. He passed away in Brooklyn, NY in 1949.
