This man had a career with the Royal Navy and reached the rank of Commander. His dates were: 1786-1855. He lived at Dunmore, Killea, Waterford.
His son, Alfred, was also an officer in the Royal Navy and also reached the rank of Commander. Alfred's dates were 1813-1861 Alfred was presumably born in Waterford but died in Portsmouth.
Alfred married Selina Elizabeth Courtney Mansel. She was the daughter of Admiral Thomas Mansel, who served with Nelson.
