Her father was James McGlynn, and her mother Mary M., maiden name unknown. Michael was the brother of Delia Bridget Bracken, my direct ancestor. Michael and Katherine had two daughters born in Roscommon, Mary Ann Bracken, born 20 December 1868, baptised 23 December 1868, Elphin, Roscommon. Michael McGlynn was a sponsor as was Catherine Hanly; Michael and Katherine's residence was listed as Erbla. The other daughter born in Roscommon was Catherine C. "Kate" Bracken, born 28 September 1870. She was baptised 1 October 1870, sponsors Michael McGlynn and Mary Cullin, in Elphin, Roscommon. The parents and two daughters emigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, where they lived and died.
