My 2x great grandfather is Cornelius Kerley born in about 1831. I believe, but have no documentation, he was from Kilmurry parish in Limerick. I base this on the fact he was married and had his children here. From his children's baptismal records, he may have had two brothers Michael and James, and also a sister Johana. Since his wife's maiden name was also Kerley, they may be related to her.
He married Hanora Kerley 29 Aug 1855 in St Patrick Catholic Church in Limerick. From the birth records of the children, her maiden name was Kerley, the same as her married name. The children's names and birthdays are Catherine 1856, James Joseph 1858, Jane 1860, Patrick 1862, Denis 1864, John Joseph 1867 (my great grandfather, Michael John 1870. The most detailed information about their place of birthplace is Ballysimon, Annacotty, Limerick, Ireland. I believe all were baptized at St Patrick’s.
