I belive that my great grandfather Patric Foley was from that area. I am not sure about the Parrish but I do know that he was from Inch, and also had lived in Cork for awhile. His father was Thomas O. Foley.

The 5km long Ballaghisheen Pass (aka Ballaghasheen Pass or Ballagh Oisin Pass aka Bealach Oisín or simply "Oisin’s Road") is situated on the road from Glencar to Waterville.
