Michael Casey married my great-grandmother, Margaret Culloty, in Castleisland in 1854. They had several children, all baptised in Castleisland, and immigrated to New Orleans in 1869-1870. I find records of him in New Orleans in 1872 and 1873 but by 1874 Margaret is a widow. She married my great-grandfather in 1875 and in the 1880 US Census she appears with her new husband and daughter, and only two Casey children. I have found no immigration records for them (the immigration dates come from the 1910 US Census record of her surviving Casey son and her obituary.
