Drimoleague (aka Dromdaleague) (Cork)
The village of Meinies (Moyny) was within a half-hour (by horse) from Droimoleague.
Here, the cabin of a man named Leahey was sketched to accompany a horrifying report of famine starvation in the Illustrated London News - Saturday 20 February 1847
Leary is a common surname in the parish of Dromdaleague. However, Leahy does not appear on Tithe Records for Moyny nor for any other townland here.
