  • I have an ancestor named Murthey(?) Buckley who was born in 1795. I am unable to find his birthplace. He married Catherine McNamara in a Parish in Cork and had a son John Franklin Buckley born in 1832. I believe they left for the US around 1834. I cannot get further back than Murthey in Ireland so I'm hoping that someone can help me do so, or at least tell me a direction to move in. An aunt was doing this search as well and believed that he came from a Parish starting with the letter K.
