My great great grandfather Hugh McMullan/McMullin was born around 1845 in Muyllaghmore, Aghadowey, Londonderry County, Northern Ireland. His father was Hugh McMullan born around 1820 also in Aghadowey. I am not sure who his mother was yet. Hugh married Martha McGrath/McGraw Sept.12/1870 in Portstewart Londonderry, NI. On marriage record it states Hugh's father Hugh was a land steward. Hugh and Martha had 7 children. First son, Hugh born May 16/1871 in Droghead, Aughodowey, Derry County. Ann Elizabeth born Apr 22, 1873 in Mullamore, Aughodowey. Daughter Mary born Feb 6/1875 in Mullamore. My great grandfather William John born July 10/1877 in Droghead, Margaret Ellen born Oct.2/1879 in North Rampart?, Hesther born May 1890 in Droghead I believe and James Courtney born Mar.24/1892 in Ballymena, Antrim Co. My great great grandfather Hugh died Mar. 4/1906 in Ballymena.
