My Gt. Grandfather, Patrick O'Rourke, played for Annagh Rovers, which was the first official football team in the parish of Aghamore, as did his younger brother Michael.. If anyone has a copy of the book 'The story of a rural Mayo GAA club, AGHAMORE 1889 - 2017', Michael is on the far left in the front row of the photograph on page 29. Apparently Michael was always known as 'Nace', I never knew this until I got a copy of the book. I wonder where the nickname originated?
