I believe Elizabeth was born about 1823 in Ireland.
While in Ireland she married Thomas Wilson and they had a family in County Cavan:
* William Wilson 1852
*Andrew Wilson 1853
* Edward Wilson 1856
* Thomas Wilson 1860
The family immigrated to Canada in 1862. Thomas the husband either died during the crossing or shortly after arriving. Family lore states that the family arrived in New York and then Elizabeth and the children went up to Quebec to settle near relatives. I have been unable to prove any of this.
Sometime after 1864 Elizabeth married again to William Maxwell.
I don't have a solid death date for her, but can confirm via the census that she was still alive as of 1901.
