Jame Allingham is believed to have emigrated from Sligo to Ontario, Canada about 1824.  He married Eliza Jane Bruce in 1831, in Kingston Ontario.  His sons were named in the following order:  James Jr., Thomas, Robert, William, George, John, Francis, and Samuel. His daughters were named Elizabeth Jane, Margaret, Mary, and Letitia. Francis Allingham of Drumcliff  ( a relative ) and his wife Eliza Jane Johnston emigrated to Canada in 1851 and  was James' neighbour.  Robert Allingham and Francis Allingham of Drumcliff and Manor Hamilton appear to be related to James. Robert and Francis Allingham were both baptised in Cloonclare Church of Ireland in 1809 and 1812, respectively.  Both were sons of John Allingham and Jane.  There is no record for James in the Cloonclare Parish records. Marriage, death and other records in Canada only state James was born in Ireland no additional information.  James died in Ontario, Canada in 1874.
