Hi all, I am researching the McDonnell family from Clara (not sure if they were from the town of Clara or the parish of the same name. William McDonnell marries Mary Kinahan on 1 June 1833 in Clara, Kings Co. There are 3 children that I know of, all whom migrate to Queensland, Australia and start their own farms. Their names are Catherine McDonnell, born about 1834, Anne McDonnell born about 1840 and Michael McDonnell born about 1844. I believe the 2 sisters came to Queensland together and brother Michael follows later in 1863. Given the birth years of these 3 children, I believe there may have been other siblings who stayed in Ireland.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. PS - on some documents their surname has been written as McDonald but mostly it is McDonnell.
Maree.
