The Celtic Fringe

I have been researching my family history for over 30 years including many visits to Ireland predominantly  to Co Roscommon and also Co. Galway & Mayo.

I was extremely fortunate to find remaining family in the Cloonfad/Ballinlough area from photo's taken by my forebears in the 1930's.

I have now been able to put together a family tree covering some 7 generations from c1830 to date.

I have recently published a book about my journey of discovery & finding extended members of the family in Ireland & many of those who emigrated to USA in the 1920's onward.
Also I have delved into  the Clan dimension of the family name & the significant role that the Geraghty's performed going way back to the 12th Cen.
