I think my great grandmother Ellen Gallagher moved to Derry with some of her children after the 1911 census in Donegal. I am trying to find out if she died in Derry in 1916. Not sure where she is buried. Her husband John died in 1902 in Meenatinny at the age of 55 years old. Not sure where he is buried either. They were married in the Catholic church in Glenswilly in 1886. They had They had five children: Charles, Catherine, Michael, Mary Eleanor, and John. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Ellen McGinley was born in 1861 Altinierin in County Donegal in Conwal Parish
Her parents were Bernard McGinley and Catherine Brown
She married John Gallagher in Glenswilly in 1886
She shows on the 1901 and 1911 census living in Meenatinny. Parish Conwal
I believe she died in 1916 in Derry.

I have a correction to make: My great grandmother Ellen Gallagher (nee McGinley) from Meenatinny townland died in Letterkenny Hospital on September 9, 1930. She was a widow and she died at the age of 74 years old. Now if I could only find out where she is buried. Her family was poor tenant farmers so she probably does not have a gravestone. I'm still not sure where my great grandfather John Gallagher is buried. He died at home in Meenatinny in 1902. Meenatinny is near the "border" with Kingarrow not far from Fintown (west of Letterkenny).
Any suggestions folks. I'm going to be in Letterkenny at the end of September.
