Garrlett was born c 1836 per immigration records. He married Mary Cullen in Manorhamilton, and had the following children : Thomas c 1864 0r 1866, Patrick 1865, Mary Jane1868, Anne aka Mamie 1871, Catherine Agnes 1874 and Susan1881. Most of the children list Upper Brockagh as their place of birth. All but Patrick apear on the immigration document, as he died at age 4. They emigrated in May, 1884 to Boston aboard the Scandanavian and lived in Woburn, MA. Garrett and Mary's eldest son, Thomas, had a son Thomas, and that Thomas also had a son Thomas. The name Keany morphed into Kenney at immigration.
