Marcilla Gallagher was born January 1, 1838 in Ireland to James E. Gallagher (58) and Elizabeth Riley (57). She married John W. Hughes July 7, 1860 in Illinois. They had six children in 16 years. She died November 5, 1921 in Clyde Texas. She is my 3rd great-grandmother on my father's mother's side. I believe her father died in Westmeath during the Great Famine and her mother and siblings fled to America and settled in Illinois. I would love to know more about the Gallaghers and Rileys of this area and connect with any other ancestors.
