Isabelle Tweedy was my 3x great grandmother. I know she had a brother Robert (Robin) Tweedy b. c 1785; d. 14 Nov 1855. Robin married Sarah Dowler in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, Ireland on April 9, 1812. They were residents of the nearby Lisduff Townland, in Kiltoghert Parish, prior to the spring of 1822, when they and their six children departed for the New World. I have a feeling that Isabelle and her husband John McLean might have also lived in Lisduff. I would love to find out where John was born. I'm also not sure if Isabelle was born in Ireland or Scotland.
