Bridget was born in Scarriff, Clare around 1806. Her parents were Philip Sexton, a grocer and Margaret Ringrose. She married Patrick O'Brien in Scarriff around 1830 and they had Daniel Millison, Mary, Patrick Jnr, Anne, Sarah, Michael and John.
Mary went to South Australia in 1850, married Robert Watt Thomspon. Around 1855 Michael was an assistant teacher in Scarriff. Anne married James McNamara in 1856 in Scarriff, with Michael as a witness and the McNamara then went to Taradale, Victoria where Mary and Robert were at the time. The Thompsons later went to NSW. Bridget and Patrick, with Sarah, Michael and John, went to Victoria on the Negotiator in 1857, and went to Taradale. Sarah died 1863 Taradale. Patrick Snr died in 1867 at nearby Metcalf and is buried with Sarah at Taradale cemetery (son Michael was also buried there much later). At the time of his death, Daniel was said to be deceased. Ann McNamara died later the same year.
Bridget seems to have lived with Michael and his wife, Eliza O'Grady. She died at Timor, Victoria where he was teaching and is buried in Maryborough cemetery. Her grandaughter, Phyllis (Philomena Mary) and daughter-in-law, Eliza are buried with her.
Mary Thompson d 1916 North Sydney, NSW. Michael d 1914 Richmond, Vic. John died 1925, Sydney NSW.
I haven't located Patrick Jnr, still alive in Jan 1883 when his mother died, or Daniel, listed as deceased in Feb 1867 when his father died.
