Richard McGrath was born in Waterford, Ireland in February of 1798. He was baptized at Trinity Cathedral on 28 Feb 1798. His parents were William McGrath (b.1765) and Anastasia O'Neill (b.1761). I believe he married Anastasia Scocfield on 22 Feb 1819 in Ireland. His first five children, Catherine (b. 1824, St. Mary's, Dungarvan), Daniel, William, Margaret and Joanna were all born in Dungarvan. His sixth child, Cornelius, was born in Canada. I would appreciate any information about Richard. He must have left Ireland for Canada as Cornelius was born there. I have been unable to find any more informaiton about him.
