There is a record of a John Whyte  dying  in Dungiven in 1831, possible grandfather ??

John emmigrated to New Zealand possibly in early 1860's where he married Mary / May Nelen(Nelan and derivatives from ? Co Kerry ) 10 October 1865 in a protestant Church.
