I am looking for a Marriage for John Higgins and Bridget Barlow who were living in Derry, Artagh North, County Roscommon in 1901. I have found a Baptism for their daughter Bridget Higgins who was born on 3 February 1868 and baptised at Loughglynn RC Church on 8 February 1868. Witnesses were John Barlow and Maria Walsh. Bridget Higgins married Martin Conry on 5 February 1901 at Lisacul RC Church, Ballaghaderreen. Martin was from Cloonbunny, Artagh South, Roscommon. Witnesses were Dominick Conry and Bridget Barlow.

I have also found a Baptism for their son Patrick Higgins who was born on 7 February 1871 and baptised at Loughglynn RC Church on 19 February 1871 Witnesses were John Walsh and Maria Higgins. Their parents were living at Derry at the time of both Baptisms.

I am trying to find a Baptism for another daughter Winifred Higgins who was born about 1860. I have been looking at Loughglynn RC Church records but have not found her yet. She was aged 30 yrs when married Patrick Kelly aged 31 yrs at Lisacul RC Church. Record says her father was John Higgins a Farmer of Derry, Roscommon. Patrick's father was Bernard Kelly a Farmer of Cloonmaul, Roscommon. Witness were John Hora and Bridget Higgins.

I have found a Death for John Higgins on 27 May 1920 at Derry, Roscommon aged 90 yrs. His son in law Martin Conry was present at death of Derry.

There is a Death in Irishgenealogy for a Bridget Higgins (who I think may be Bridget Barlow Higgins in 1901 Group ID 4491300 age 69 yrs in Castlerea District but the page is blank and nobody is listed on it.

I have also found another Death for a daughter Mary who was living with John And Bridget (Barlow) Higgins in 1901. Mary never married and died on 15 March 1940 in Derry, Roscommon aged 80 yrs. She must have been born around 1860 but have yet to find her also. Her brother in law Martin Conry was present at Death.

I have a large DNA match to a descendant of Winifred Higgins and Patrick Kelly. That is why I am interested in finding the Marriage of John Higgins and Bridget Barlow.

My G Grandfather was James Higgins born about 1821 and G Grandmother was Bridget Griffin born about 1833. They were living in Uggool, Kilmovee in 1901. I am hoping that John Higgins may be his brother.
