Thomas Cooney remained in Ireland married Ellen Gaffney(1838-1925) about 1863 first child was born in 1864 they had 10 children nearly all of which emigrated to Worcester Massachusetts USA as soon as they were old enough to travel alone My grandmother was one of the Younger ones Ellen Cooney born in 1882 in Keadue and died in Worcester Mass in 1956
