John McWilliams married to Elizabeth Hannon in Ireland. Known children were Catherine, Jane and James Bernard (most likely there were more children but am unable to find them. James sailed to Canada from Londonderry around 1834. Catherine married James McGarvey in Ireland, came to Canada with James and children, died in 1846 in Sheffield Township, Lennox and Addington County Ontario, Canada. James married Mary Ann Burke in Kingston Ontario Canada in 1845 and moved to Sheffield Township sometime prior to 1861. Jane never married and died in Sheffield Township 1880's.
I have found most of my information in the Canadian records, am not doing so well with the Irish records. Would love to know more about this family. I am a direct decendent of James Bernard. He was my 2x Great Grandfather. Thanks for any information you can provide
