My gr-grandfather Patrick McCoy, born in Aghnamullen in 1847, emigrated to the United States in 1864 and became a US citizen in 1888. His father was Bernard McCoy. Patrick was living in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. One of the persons vouching for him was Owen Lennon. Not sure of the connection to Bernard Lennon, but worthy of exploration.
