That´s probably Ballytrasna. An area in the town of Boyle. I seem to recall Pat Brennan (North Roscommon IRA) was from Ballytrasna, too. Maybe a relative?

Greetings,
I have had some Brennans from County Sligo show up as DNA matches. There was a Brennan-Durkin (Durcan) line which might be the link. My Carty family still lives in Knockroe, Boyle.
Are you aware of any connections with the Cryan family? My grandmother was Nora Cryan & there were Cryans from County Sligo.
Thanks for any oinformation you can provide.
Best wishes,
