Maria was born about 1860 – she was aged 22 at her marriage in 1882, 30 on her death record. Her father was Mathew McKeogh (1815-1901) Derrymore; I haven’t found her mother or her birth record so far. She married John Keegan on 20th Feb 1882 in Rathwire RC Chapel. He was a bachelor aged 23 (b. abt 1859); occupation labourer; address Clondalee; son of Thomas Keegan, labourer. Maria was a spinster aged 22 (b. abt 1860); her occupation was not stated; address Derrymore, Killucan; daughter of Matt McKeogh, labourer. The witnesses were John Duignan and Mary McKeogh. The celebrant was Rev R.J. Kelsh [Mullingar 1882 ID 2129368]. Their son Thomas Keegan was born in Clondalee on 26th September 1884 [Trim 1884 ID 10537486] Mary died on 21st August 1886 in Clondalee, Co Westmeath from debility after parturition, 6 days (following childbirth). She was aged 30, wife of John Keegan, labour who registered her death on 23rd August [Trim 1886 ID6708119].
