Here's all I know about my great grandfather
He was born around 1856 somewhere in Ireland (guessing from his death certificate) His parents were James Sexton and Mary Griffin. He married Mary Ann Hayes on 10 April 1880 In Our Lady of Grace Church in Hoboken, NJ, USA. He had a sister Mary Sexton who was born August 1863 according to info I got from the Little Sisters of the Poor in Manhattan where she dies on 10 Mar 1941.
John and Mary lived mostly in Hoboken, NJ, and had many children including James M Sexton born 11 May 1881 died 17 July 1881, Thomas Vincent Sexton (my grandfather) born 18 May 1882 died 07 Nov 1951. He married Helen (or maybe Ellen) Agnes Clooney 03 Jul 1912 in Our Lady of Grace Church in Hoboken, NJ, Michael Sexton orn Jan 1884 died 18 Feb 1884, John (who appears to have been his twin brother) born 08 Feb 1884 in Hoboken, died 01 May 1908, Mary Gertrude born 05 June 1886 died 27 Aug 1942, James Matther Sexton born 30 Aug 1889 died 09 aug 1890. Francis Joseph Sexton also born 30 Aug 1889 died 11 June 1890, Henry John Sexton born about 1892 died 09 Jan 1896 and George F sexton born 10 Oct 1893 Died 19 apr 1979 (he was a priest and died in San Antonio, Texas.
John's wife Mary Ann Hayes was born about 1851 in New York City, NY and died 05 Feb 1896 of "melancoly"
Our DNA seems to point to the loop head peninsula for this side of my family.
