My grandmother Maria Agnes Walsh was born in Galway in 1893 to Martin and Mary Walsh. I'm not sure if she was born in Derrybrien but I found a record of the family living there in 1911.
My grandmother, her brother James and sister Delia had emigrated to the US in early 1900s. The 1911 record list her parents and siblings Kate, Norah, Patrick, and Martin. Her father was a tailor.
If anyone knows of a Walsh family living in Derrybrien in the early 1900s please contact me.
