Research: Durrow. County Laois/Queen's County.
Any information regarding this family would be appreciated.
My Great Grandfather MICHAEL DUNPHY b:1887 Durrow Queen's Co. came to England in 1888 with his parents PATRICK DUNPHY AND BRIDGET LOWRY. Patrick Dunphy was also born in Durrow in 1860, and Bridget Lowry was born in 1859, Callen, Kilkenny.
Patrick Dunphy b:1860 Durrow Queen's Co. Parents: Michael Dunphy b:abt 1835 & Mary Bowe b:abt1835
Bridget Lowry b:1859 Callen, Kilkenny. Parents: Edward Lowry b:1838 & Mary Kennedy b:1833
Bridget's father EDWARD LOWRY was born in Castlewood, the son of Dan/Ed Lowry & Judy Mulhall.
Patrick Dunphy with his parents moved to Castlewood in 1861 and it would have been here that Patrick and Bridget met.
It is at Michael Dunphy b:abt 1835 that I come to a halt, and suggestions would be appreciated.
Manythanks
