Thomas White was a farmer on Long Island New York for nearly 50 years, owning a large farm in Mineola (Queens County at the time and later Nassau County).
It is unknown at this time where in Ireland he was from, who his siblings are or if he came to the States with his family or left alone. We do not know what year he and his wife married or if they married in NY or Ireland or elsewhere.
Considering Irish naming patterns, he and his wife may have had a son Patrick before settling in Mineola that didn't survive as both he and his wife's father were named Patrick, yet none of their children were given that name.
