My 3xs great-grandparents, Owen Devery and Elizabeth Rigney were married about 1835 in or near Ferbane, Kings Co(Offaly) Ireland. They had at least 8 children. Anne (1839), James(1844), John(1844), Bridget(1846), Marion(1849), Peter(1850), Owen (1854) and Elizabeth(1857). James(my line), John, Bridget and Peter all settled in America, and the family name was changed to Devereux/Devereaux. Owen, Marion, Elizabeth all stayed near home. I don't know about Anne. I'm just trying to see if the family line continues near Ferbane or in Ireland. I would also be interested in the Rigneys. Thanks Donna Devereux

Donna,
Why not send a message to the Offaly Heritage group? https://www.facebook.com/offalyheritagenews/ I imagine some of the locals can answer your question.
Good luck.
