Hello Irish Cousins!
I am tracing my Murphy family tree. Although Mary may have been born in the US, her mother Garatha Murphy was born in Ireland (1794 to 1878). Garatha died in Brooklyn, NY. Mary had a brother Robert.
Mary may have married Joseph Edward Smith (born in Ireland 1818).
I surely appreciate any facts you have on Mary, her mother or Joseph. My dream is to find my Irish roots and come visit! Maybe even find living relatives! That would be a dream come true.
