Thomas Hannan b. about 1831 in or near Loughrea Ireland. He had several brothers. He and brother Michael purchase land on Long Island New York i n about 1852-1854. Spouse of Thomas is Anna Connolly b. about 1854 in or near Monivea Ireland.

Anna Connollys birth is about 1834 not 1854.

they have several children born in NY in the 1850's and early 1860's. Thomas and Anna purchase land in Meeker County MN in 1867. Their 8 year old daughter died in 1868 so they purchased 16 buriel sites in St Gertrudes cemetery in Forest City MN; about 6 miles from their farmplace. in 1886 their 13 year old son is killed in a farm accident. in 1902-1903 another son James is killed in a RR accident in western Wisconsin. Anna passed away in July of 1921 in Forest City at about age 89. Thomas dies in December of 1921 at about 91 years.
