What I have been able to discover about Isabella McGee was that she was born around 1832 in Derry. She was married to John McDevitt on Dec 2, 1847, in St Patrick's Church Philadelphia. The witnesses were Andrea McBride and Hannah Harkins. They had two children there; John born in 1849 (1850 US Federal Census shows the family was living in Cedar Ward Philadelphia.)and George born in 1852. Apparently, this child died in infancy because Isabella had another child also named George who was born in 1854. Sometimes between, 1854 and 1856, they left Philadelphia and came to Saint John New Brunswick. The went on to have four more children William James , Thomas Henry, Joseph Edward and Robert A' John dies on May 26, 1876 and Isabella died on January 12, 1892.
