- Son of John Halloran and Mary Kelley, both born Ireland, presumably County Clare.
In 1874, Patrick is in St Joseph, Missouri. He married and raised his family in St Joseph, MO.
There is a Mary Holloran in St Joseph, MO, b. abt 1826 Ireland and died there on 5 Jan 1888.
She lived with her daughter Bridget Holloran Loftus Flynn (1848 Ireland – 1891 St Joseph, MO).
Death records are not available for her death.
Obituary Notice isn’t much help -- says “she is the mother of Mrs. Flynn and has a number of relatives in the city.”
If she is the mother of the other Holloran’s living in St Joseph, MO, I would have expected the other children’s names being included.

The O’Brien family bible lists: Bridget, Mrs. Holloran (d. Jan 1888), Mrs Mary Fox, James Holloran, Margaret Holloran, Patrick & his wife’s deaths, and death of their daughter Ellen.
Photos in the bible include Patrick and Mary Melissa. There’s an arrow connecting Mary Melissa and Ellen which says “sisters.”
