Back to List

Patrick Kilrahil (c1820-1909) of DONEAL

In 1855, at the time of Griffith's Valuation Patrick KILRAHIL appears on record in the adjoining townlands of Belville and Donneill (where Patt was living).

Pat had land to his name in Bellville that he shared in partnership with Anne Kilrahil (likely his widowed mother) who lived on this farm in Bellville. So we would expect to find Anne and her husband ? Kilrahil on record there in the 1830s and earlier.

Patt's close neighbours in Dunneill were Laurence Magee, Peter Collery and John Connor. Patrick Feeny was just across the river in Belville.
