Richard Cully, married Elizabeth Newman in Kinnegad Parish 1861; lived at Hodgestown Townland, was a shopkeeper, died July 1874 at Kinnegad Bog, witness Peter Cully, burial record found in Kinnegad parish record; four children: James,1861 ; William,1863 ; Mary Anne, 1865; Catherine, 1867. Children went to Dublin as young adults and started using the name Cullen. James married Alice Greaney in 1891; William married Mary Molloy in 1889; Mary Anne married Stephen St.John in 1888.
