Michael McMahon is identified in the death records of some of his children, who were all born in Kilmihil, County Clare, and died in Green Isle, Minnesota. His widow Honora (nee Reardon) McMahon is recorded in U.S. censuses, but not Michael, so he probably died before the rest of the family came to America. The Tithe Applotment Book of 1826 lists a Michael McMahon and a John Reardon in Ballyduneen Townland in Kilmihil Parish. His oldest known child, Simon McMahon, was born circa 1811. His wife Honora was born circa 1790.
