He was a Scots-Irish farmer who emigrated from Aghadowey to the US in 1718 with the Rev. James McGregor and the congregation. He brought 3 sons with him; John, James and Thomas. They landed in Boston MA, lived in Chester NH for awhile, then settled in Goffstown NH. He died there in 1754.
