Margaret Guinan was born about 1819 in King's County/Offaly. She married John Heaton and their son, Kieran Heaton, was born in 1839 and baptized in the Tisaron and Galen parish. The family immigrated to Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania in the 1840s. There is some evidence she may have been from the Clonmacnoise parish.
