Searching for Kennah

I think I can help you n am  delighted to do so. 
my late Mother Rose McKenna ( often shortened to Kenna n in old records was spelled Kinna, Kinnagh n other variations) 

She was one of 8 children of John Kenna n Margaret Dunne. John was from Geashill, Offaly. ( Killeigh Parish) 

John's Parents were John Kenna 1875- 1951 n Mary Kelly , they got married in 1869. 
According to the records Johns father was James Kenna,  I think this James died in 1876 aged 72 making him born in 1804.

It would be amazing if we could figure out who your ancestors are. All the McKennas/ Kenna's etc from Offaly are all branches of the same family. 
I actually made contact n have met another cousin descended from the Kenna's who lives in Mass.

Hi -

My name is Jolene and I'm also descended from John Kennah although I have his birth date as circa 1822... I'm descended through his son Bernard Patrick Kennah born in New York, USA in 1859.

I don't have an Ancestry account at this time though, are either of you on familysearch.org? And if so, could we connect our family trees there or something?

I would greatly appreciate any information either of you could provide in regards to further details on the Kennah family origins in Ireland.
