Born 1817, Bridget is listed in the 1821 census at Manorland north side of the Boyne Trim with parents James, Stock & Share maker, 56, Margret, 35, Catherine, 12, Eleanor, 11 (possibly died 15 Otober 1834) and Gudeth, 1. In 1837 Bridget was a witness to the murder of William Hatch in Duleek. on 11 February 1839 Bridget, a child's maid, was convicted at Trim on a charge of larcency from a shop in Navan and transported to New South Wales. In 1845 she married Walter Leonard a Meath man from Clonard, and also a convict. The couple had 9 children, only 4 of whom lived to adulthood: Ellen & Mary (twins) Margaret and Catherine (Kate). Bridget died on 10 Feruary 1876.
