James Larkin from Co. Down, married Sarah Magenis (sp?) of Co. Down on 7 Feb 1836 and immegrated to USA in May of 1836 to settle in Dubuque County, Iowa.
Wedding was witnessed by Hugh Maginis (assuming relation to Sarah)
James had a brother Phillip (b. 1808) that came with him to USA. The brothers brought over a sister, Sarah (Larkin) Savage, and her children after she was widowed.
