I take this Savage line in Dublin were connected to the Griffin family. I've seen the names in baptisms and marriages, sponsor's and the like. Along with Wogan (spelling?).

Margaret Mary (Maggie) Griffin (1920-2007) was born above the shop on Main Street in Swords, County Dublin. She is the great grand daughter of Robert Savage and Ester nee Vaughan. Maggie married Malachy Griffin (1916-1996) on April 8, 1947 and begot 6 children who are my 2nd cousins. I have Wogan's on the McGrane side of my family but I do not know of any on the Savage Side.
