This may not be the right parish exactly, but James Ruane was born in Mayo in about 1800.
He married Sarah Jane Christian before 1835, either in Mayo or in Newark, New Jersey. They had Margaret Agnes (baptized 1 November 1835 at St John's Catholic, Newark, New Jersey), then moved to Philadelphia and dropped the e from their surname. They had Thomas (1845), Susan (1846), Mary (29 Sep 1848), Mary (Nov 1849), Samuel (1853), Sarah "Sallie" (1860), Jane "Jennie" (1862).
James died 3 Oct 1877 and was buried at New Cathedral Cemetery. Sarah Jane Christian died on 5 Sep 1886.
